The Di Cret Farm is located in Forni di Sotto, surrounded by the majestic peaks of the Friulian Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Our cows, cared for with love and dedication, are free to graze in the farm’s meadows.
Artisan Milk and Cheese in the Carnic Mountains
We are a young and large family with a dream: to raise animals in harmony with Nature.
With hard work and dedication, we have revived what was once a traditional activity in the peaks of Carnia.
Today, the Di Cret Farm is home to more than 50 cows, and with their rich, flavorful milk, we produce artisanal cheeses and dairy products, just like in the old days.
The well-being of our cows comes first!
FEEDING
Raised without hormones or antibiotics, the cows are fed exclusively on farm-grown hay, fresh grass, and certified organic, non-GMO grains.
ANIMAL WELFARE
Our cows are free to move around the farm, with plenty of space both indoors and outdoors. A milking robot monitors the health of the animals and ensures high-quality milk.
